What is CALLERLAB?
CALLERLAB is an international organization of square dancer callers. Our goal is to provide square dance callers, square dancers, and square dance organizations with the tools they need to recruit new dancers in their local markets.
How do I use CALLERLAB?
Our organization offers a variety of different programs, events, and memberships that serve the square dancing community. We help guide and educate square dancers and square dance callers through Dance Programs, Memberships, Caller Resources, and a Square Dance Group Finder.
Who can join the organization?
We welcome anyone and everyone! There are CALLERLAB groups all over the world consisting of members of all ages and backgrounds. Learn more about our membership options here.

Is there a dress code?
Absolutely NOT! We want you to come as you are. Whether you feel like donning full western attire or throwing on jeans and a t-shirt, you’re welcome here.
What kinds of music do you play?
Contrary to the square dancing you might have seen on TV, we don’t just play Western music. We dance to everything from hip hop to rock! If it has a great beat and a solid tempo, it’s probably on our playlist.
Is it hard to learn to square dance?
Think of square dancing as learning a new set of vocabulary words. The moves are easy with low-impact steps, and after learning the terms, you’ll look like a pro!
